Established in 1976 as a small wood working shop in Sullivan County, New York, Youngsville Wood Works was the passionate vision of Joe and Linda Babicz.

Joe’s impeccable hands-on wood working prowess and Linda’s interior design sense offered a complimentary team of creativity.

In the early days of Youngsville Wood Works, the imaginative output was a variety of furniture, cabinetry and exotic wood bowl turnings from Joe’s lathe.

As the company matured, the focus shifted to custom kitchens and baths, with an emphasis on custom. Joe’s workshop had all the capability to create any style of hand crafted kitchens, including a multitude of door styles with hand rubbed lacquer finishes, and unique countertop offerings. Linda’s kitchen and bathroom designs were unique and fresh, which was eagerly welcomed by the local community.

In the early 1990’s the company continued to grow and Joe and Linda expanded their working territory to include Orange County, New York - with their corporate office and primary showroom now located in Middletown, NY, Joe’s father, Joe Babicz Sr joined the team and the company’s name was changed to its present Youngsville Custom Kitchens.

In order to fulfill the ever growing customer demand, Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry was folded into the lineup. This allowed the Babicz family to focus on kitchen and bath design creativity which in turn, opened up a whole new world of offerings to their loyal clientele.

Today, Joe and Linda’s daughter Linda-Lee Babicz plays a central role in the company. Like her Mom, Linda Lee studied interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, and through her exceptional eye for design, and her talented computer aided skills, Linda Lee turns client’s dreams into reality.
